Joseph Huang is a long time Sonoma County resident.  He is a graduate of the School of Business and Economics Department.  He is a three time graduate from SSU and holds a B.S. in Business with a Marketing concentration (2002), a B.A. in International Economics (2004) and an MBA (2018).  While in school, he was the Past President of the SSU Marketing Club and VP for the International Business Association.

After graduating in 2002, he traveled to Europe and visited England, Germany, Italy and France and caught the travel bug.  Upon returning, he started his career in retail management while completing his economics degree.  Joseph started his banking career with Washington Mutual Bank in 2005 and continued through the acquisition with JP Morgan Chase Bank in 2008.  He achieved the bank's highest honor by winning the "Top Manager" award given to branches that achieved the top 10% in profitability out of over 5000 branches.

Currently, Joseph works for Exchange Bank as VP/Regional Business Development Officer.  He provides lending to companies for business acquisitions, expansions, CapEx, commercial real estate, and equipment. 

Joseph joined the SSU Alumni Association Board in 2014 and is the Past President.  He also serves on the board for Council on Aging and was the Treasurer from 2016-2019.  He’s an Alumni Mentor for the Mentorship Program run by the School of Business and Economics.  During his off time, he enjoys playing softball, basketball, golf, and spending time with his family and friends over a good meal.  Traveling is his bliss and he’s constantly thinking of new places to explore.  He’s been to 26 countries and counting.
